Zhenhua Feng is Professorof Computer Vision and Machine Learning at the School of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science, Jiangnan University, Wuxi, China. He is also Senior Member of IEEE and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK). Before joining the Jiangnan University, he was Research Fellow (2016-2019), Senior Research Fellow (2019-2020), Lecturer (2020-2023) and Senior Lecturer (2023-2024) at the Centre for Vision, Speech and Signal Processing (CVSSP) and the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering, University of Surrey, UK. He also served as the Programme Lead of the BSc Computer Science programme (2022-2024) at the University of Surrey.
His research interests include computer vision, machine learning, pattern recognition, image processing, etc. He has published more than 100 papers in top-tier journals and conferences, such as IEEE-TPAMI, IJCV, IEEE-TIP, IEEE-TNNLS, CVPR, ICCV, AAAI, IJCAI, ACL, etc. His publications have been cited more than 4600 times with an H-index of 29(Google Scholar). He received the “European Biometric Industry Award” from the European Association of Biometrics (EAB) in 2017.
He currently serves as Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems (IEEE-TNNLS) and the Springer journal Complex & Intelligent Systems. He also served as the Guest Editor for the International Journal of Computer Vision (IJCV) in 2023, Programme Chair for the British Machine Vision Conference (BMVC) 2022, Area Chair for BMVC 2021/22/23/24, Area Chair for ACM SIGGRAPH European Conference on Visual Media Production (CVMP) 2022/23/24, Senior Programme Committee Member for the International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI) 2021, etc.
